Restaurants & Commercial Kitchens

90 days. We'll keep the calendar.

Austin's FOG program requires grease trap pumping every 90 days — or sooner if solids hit 50% of the trap's wetted height. We run the schedule, pump during slow hours, and leave the paperwork an inspector can actually read.

Full grease trap service

Interior under-sink traps, exterior in-ground interceptors, automatic grease recovery units — we service them all. Pumpout is start-to-finish: full removal of grease, solids, and liquid waste down to the wetted walls.

Austin's rules in plain English

If you run a food service business inside Austin city limits, grease trap pumping isn't optional. The rule: pump every 90 days or when grease/solids reach 50% wetted height. Fines run up to $2,000 per violation, and repeat offenders can be required to pump more often at their own cost.

Frequently asked

What's the difference between a 90-day pump and a line flush?

Pumping removes everything in the trap. A line flush uses high-pressure water to clear grease buildup in the pipes running to and from the trap. We do both. Most restaurants need the pump quarterly and the flush annually — we'll tell you if yours needs more.

Can you service our location without closing the kitchen?

Most of our commercial work happens overnight or between breakfast and lunch. Tell us your slow hours and we'll fit the schedule around them.

What if we're outside Austin city limits?

Other jurisdictions have their own rules — generally less strict than Austin's, but most follow a 90-day or 'when 25–50% full' standard. We can advise on your local requirements.

Do you handle lift station pumping for restaurants?

Yes, when the lift station is part of a commercial food service setup. Ask when you call and we'll scope the job.
